How to Give Sokos Solutions Access to Your Facebook Account

In order for Sokos Solutions to publish posts on your behalf and/or run ads for you, you must grant us partner and admin access. Help us take your social media to the next level by following the steps below.

Part 1: Find Your Facebook Business ID

A Facebook Business Manager is basically the container that helps you organize your Facebook Business Pages and Ad Accounts that are connected to a particular business. In order to move on to parts 2 & 3, you will need to send Sokos Solutions your Facebook Page ID. If you still need to create a Business Manager account, please click here.

Option 1: Find your Facebook Business ID in Facebook Business Manager

Step 1: Open up Facebook Business Manager at facebook.business.com and navigate to the Business Settings page or click on this link: business.facebook.com/settings.

Step 2: Scroll down on the left sidebar, click Business Info.  

Step 3: You can see the FB Business Manager ID right at the top of the page.

Option 2: Find your Facebook Business ID in Your Browser Address Bar

Step 1: Open up your Facebook Business Manager at facebook.business.com and navigate to the Business Settings page or click on this link: business.facebook.com/settings.

Step 2: Here you don’t have to click anywhere else, just have a look at the URL in your browser address bar.

Step 3: Your FB Business Manager ID is the number after the URL part: “business-id=” as you can see in the picture below:

PART 2: Partner Access

Step 1a: Log into your business manager at business.facebook.com.

Note: If you do not have a Facebook business account, skip to step 1b.

Step 2a: Go to Business Settings from your left sidebar. Then, click Requests.

Step 3a: Click on the Received tab. You should see that Sokos Solutions has requested access to your Page here. 

Note: If for some reason you do not see a request from Sokos Solutions here, try skipping to step 1b. 

Step 4a: Click Approve and follow the prompts.

Step 5a: To confirm it worked, go to Users, then Partners and you should see Sokos Solutions listed there.

You are now done with Part 1!

Please skip to Part 2: Admin Access.


 

Step 1b: Log into your Facebook account at facebook.com

Step 2b: Go to your business page.

Step 3b: On the left side, click Settings, then User Roles.

Step 4b: Look for Pending Partner Requests and you’ll see a request from Sokos Solutions.

Step 5b: Click Respond to Request and follow the prompts (you will need to re-input your password).

You are now done with Part 1! Proceed to Part 2: Admin Access.

Part 3: Admin Access

In order for Sokos Solutions to post on your behalf, you must grant a personal Facebook account admin access. For Sokos Solutions, that account is under Adm SokosSocial.

Step 1: Log into your Facebook account at facebook.com

Step 2: Go to your Facebook Business Page. 

Step 3: On the left, click Settings, then Page Roles.

Step 4: Under Assign a New Page Role, change the dropdown menu to say, Admin.

Step 5: Type in “Adm Sokos Social” and look for the account with the following image:

Step 6: Click the Add button.

Step 7: It should now say “Request Pending.” Please let your account manager know you have completed this step so we can accept the request to be an admin of your page.
